Standard Short-board (from $740)
The standard short-board is your common high performance machine apt for tight power turns, vertical reo’s, big air maneuvers and the likes. The variations of the short-board are vast and are dependent on wave conditions and surfers ability, as to how they perform in the water.
Fish (from $740)
A whole lot of fun to be had in smaller, fat and mushier conditions. The fish is a great shaped board for our summer swell trends. They are generally shorter boards with a bit more width and thickness through the body and little rocker in the tail. Hence the ability to get going on smaller waves.
XL Shortboard (from $780)
Same principles as a short board, but dimensions are increased to suit larger and heavier individuals. These boards give good floatation whilst still being highly responsive. Typical length is anywhere from 6’10″ to 7’6″.
Mini-Mal (from $780)
These boards are all about fun! Great for learning to surf on because they are so easy to paddle and are really stable. Heaps of fun no matter what level of skill you posses.
Longboard (from $1,000)
The longboard has legendary status and is still one of the most practical board shapes available. Traditionally it’s length is 9′ plus and is used for your more classic laid-back style of surfing. The share volume of surface area, usually makes for easier paddling, long drawn-out turns and maneuvers like nose-riding.
However, there are many variations on the old longboard that make for more high performance handling.
